This is my little space on the internet where I wear my heart on my sleeve, where I keep it real and above all, where I hope to encourage others. I share my life with you, not because I think I’m awesome, but because I believe that life is meant to be shared. And maybe, just maybe, God will use my story, experiences and randomness to encourage you in your life.
Let me start off by saying, I have MISSED all of you! Joe & I have been in Oregon visiting his family since the 22nd and will be here until the 29th. We’ve been all over the place: Portland, New-berg, Harrisburg, Coons Bay and Corvallis and haven’t had a whole lot of time to just sit down and blog. So, I apologize for my absence but just know that I definitely have missed my blogging.
Since this was only my second Christmas ever spent away from my family in Wisconsin, my mother-in-law went out of her way to make this Christmas special for me. She had all of my favorite Christmas movies and music, AMAZING food every where I turned and even took us shopping for our gifts. I was feeling pretty spoiled! We headed to this great little boutique called Urban Laundry where Kristi bought me my first Juicy purse. (I told you she spoiled me!)
After that we headed to the Beanery where we enjoyed some yummy tea, good conversation, and good entertainment from Joe. He is the only person I’ve ever met who can actually solve the Rubix’s cube. It’s his nerdy trick that I NEVER get sick of watching so he pulled it out during our coffee date. (Side note: he doesn’t ALWAYS have a Rubix’s cube on him. Our friends just bought him one as a gift earlier this week. He’s not THAT nerdy :))
Hope that you all had a WONDERFUL Christmas! I’ll be back in the swing of things soon. Until then, enjoy a little bit of my Oregon trip so far :)
Isn’t it the cutest?!
Mmmmm Green Tea :)
Hard at work…
Showing off his skills. I love my nerdy rocket scientist man :)
