We had such a wonderful time photographing Amy + Chris’s Arizona Grand Resort Wedding. Their spirits were that of joy and love. Even the 113 degree couldn’t put a damper in their day. Amy was one of the most laid back, sweet brides I have ever worked with. After many years of knowing one another, they committed their lives to one another in front of their closest family and friends. It was beautiful :)

Happy Monday my friends! Here are a few tidbits that I’ve learned this week. 1. Have you done a happy dance today? If not, I recommend you do one. 2. Will you be watching the Bachelorette tonight? Oh you know I will! 3. Do not bake cookies on wax paper. My girlfriend and I found out the hard way yesterday. 4. When a weed grows to the height of your husband, it’s probably time to pull it. 5. Pistachio frozen yogurt is highly addicting. Mmm mm mm 6. Get a group together and start interpreting each other’s dreams. Many laughs will ensue. 7. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Guacamole is dabomb.com 8. Sunday lunches always taste better in the company of good friends. 9. Humans can in fact survive a day out in 115 degree heat. Although, the following day will result in zero to little productivity. 10. Owning a coach purse DOES feel as good as I imagined. Especially when said purse was a gift. (I truly do have the BEST clients!)
 High school sweethearts. Such a beautiful way to start a life together. After many years of love and commitment, Brian + Jenna finally sealed the deal and are now husband and wife! ‘It doesn’t feel real. I don’t think it will really hit me until I walk down the aisle!’ Jenna told me as she got ready. And she was right. As she stood at the end of the aisle with her dad on her arm and her future husband yards in front of her, the emotions came flooding. Her tears of joy were unmistakable and it was a beautiful site to see. The entire day radiated love and it was lovely to be a part of. Thanks to all the staff at Inspirador for making the day run so smoothly!

Stacy…Thank you so much. The photos are AWESOME! Agape; a selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, the highest of the four types of love in the Bible. This is the type of love that Chris + Carrie vowed to one another on their wedding day. A love that does not rely on their own doing, but a love that flows from the Father unto them. A love that knows that failures are inevitable but Grace is sufficient. A love that is built on the solid foundation of Christ, rather than the unstable roller coaster of mere feelings. A love that calls them daily to willing submission and godly leadership. With joy, they entered into an agape marriage. A Christ-centered marriage. A lifetime marriage. And I couldn’t be more excited for them! Chris + Carrie, you know how special you two are to us. We have prayed that God would bring a woman as wonderful as you, Carrie, into Chris’s life. I can’t really explain how much of a blessing it was to not only witness your marriage but document the beauty of it all. I am so excited that you two are now husband and wife! Welcome to the club ;). I pray that God blesses your socks off!!

Truly captured the moment, beautiful!
3 year ago I started my journey into photography. Starting out was fun, exciting, but mostly OVERWHELMING! Let’s just say I made more than my share of mistakes along the way. I didn’t know where to turn and I wanted nothing more than for an experienced photographer to scoop me up under their wing and tell me everything was going to be okay :). But that didn’t happen. No, I had to learn the hard way. And that was, well, HARD! Somehow I made it through and my business has grown to a place that I don’t deserve. I remember so clearly what it was like starting out and while I am no longer there, I know many of you are. THE WORKSHOP was designed to inspire, teach and encourage new photographers to take their passion and business to a whole new level.
