Lauren+Marcus are married!!! Congrats to the newest SKP newlyweds. My second shooter Lindsi and I had a great time hanging with the happy couple, their lovely family and fun friends.

As always, the Villa Siena was absolutely gorgeous; the perfect backdrop for any wedding.

It was a pleasure watching these two commit their lives to one another and documenting their love story. Congrats again, you two!

This weather has got me in spring cleaning mode. One day I just woke up and thought, “I must reorganize the house today!”. So Bella and I ventured out to my Fave of faves, Hobby Lobby, to look for some new, fun items to help spruce up the house. We came out with an AWESOME new toy chest for Bella. This thing is legit! Like heavy duty, real wood kinda legit. In fact, it took two of Hobby Lobby’s finest to load it into my car. When I got home, I ran into a problem. I desperately wanted to get this new treasure into the house pronto, but Joe wouldn’t be home for a number of hours. I attempted to lift it out of the car to no avail. I went back into the house defeated and disappointed and quickly talked myself into the idea that this toy chest needed to be in the house immediately and I wasn’t going to take no for an answer. Sometime between walking out the front door and to the back of the car, I must have gained super woman strength because I lifted that bad boy out and carried it all the way into the house: ALL.BY.MYSELF! To say I felt accomplished is the understatement of the century. Applause is welcomed ;)

My parents got into town last night….hooray!!! Bella was SO excited to see Grandma+Grandpa, she could barely contain herself. We are looking forward to three weeks of making memories, updating the house a bit and enjoying life together.

So I just made these amazing and simple little treats that only have 5 ingredients: coconut oil (I’m obsessed!), cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey and vanilla extract. Mix together, pour into ice cube tray, freeze and you have yourself little bite-sized piece of paradise. SO good!

Confession: I like miracle whip. Hopefully you’ll still be my friend.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Here is Bella’s AH-mazing new toy chest. Don’t you just love it?!

I was SO excited when Lisa wrote me a few months ago saying that her and her husband would be celebrating their 10 year anniversary here in AZ  and wanted to document it with an anniversary session. I am all about celebrating marriage, so I was in before I even finished reading the email! Learning that they were fellow followers of Christ and from one of my fave states ever (CO) was just icing on the cake! After months of anticipating, the day had finally come that I got to meet these two lovelies. It was such a blessing getting to take a peek into their love and their hearts. These two are beautiful inside and out and I loved spending the afternoon with them.

Special thanks to Ashley Nicole for rockin’ Lisa’s makeup!

Okay. I can’t even handle all of Lisa’s beauty here!

They wanted the full Arizona experience so I took them out to the open desert for the second half of their session. SO much goodness happened there!

I am itching for a good movie. I haven’t seen one in like 27 years. Exaggeration? Perhaps. But you get the picture. (The motion picture.) Ehhh, see what I did there?! Okay, my hubby’s lame “dad jokes” are officially wearing off on me. But really, I’m totally looking for some movie recommendations so leave a comment with your recent faves, mmmm k?

We are on Week 4 of our P90x 3 journey and we haven’t missed a workout yet. Hollerrrr!!! Today we started our “recovery week”, so I rolled out of bed feeling pretty good about my upcoming workout performance. Three weeks of kicking butt with my hubby has upped the fitness confidence a little. Enter “Isometrics” workout and let’s just say my confidence was shaken. I went into it thinking “Holding plank? No problem!”. But approximately 4.2 minutes into the workout, I morphed into a newborn baby giraffe who was trying to walk for the first time. Not very graceful, my friends. Not very graceful at all!

Whatever happened to silly putty? Do they still sell that stuff? If so, I must add it to my amazon list. Pronto!

Is there anything more fun than a teeter toter? The answer is no. No there is not. Teeter toters are awesome in every way. Bella agrees with me. The end.

Happy Monday, everyone!
