This is my little space on the internet where I wear my heart on my sleeve, where I keep it real and above all, where I hope to encourage others. I share my life with you, not because I think I’m awesome, but because I believe that life is meant to be shared. And maybe, just maybe, God will use my story, experiences and randomness to encourage you in your life.
30 weeks (1/9/16)/Third Trimester/Clover Joy is the size of a cucumber (17 in, 3-3.5 lbs)
Officially out of the 20s and into the 30s! Oh my lanta, I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was writing our pregnancy announcement post and now we are just 10 weeks away from the big day. And the weeks are flying by at lighting speed!
This week was all about getting back to life as usual. Well, sort of. We are actually packing in more this month than usual. Somehow we are going to fit in two maternity sessions, three work trips, hosting my parents, kicking off childbirth classes, a few photo shoots, hosting weekly small group and my baby shower all in the month of January. Yikes!
This past weekend Joe was away at his first of three work trips, leaving Bella and I to fly solo. We made sure our weekend was very “girly” complete with getting my hair cut and colored, a trip to the mall and a “hot cocoa” date with Bella’s old babysitter who was visiting from out of town. It was pretty lovely.
Total Weight Gain: 17 pounds
Symptoms: I’m starting to feel a bit of low back pain by the end of the day but it feels better after some yoga stretching.
Highlight of the week: Picking out our outfits for my upcoming maternity session!
Looking forward to: Hypnobirthing classes and our maternity session this weekend. Woo hoo.
