Good thing about working from home: I can stay in my pajamas all day. Bad thing about working from home: I can stay in my pajamas all day! That’s right, it’s after noon and I’m still rocking my blue capris, my old Wisconsin sweatshirt and my glasses. I’m thinking about getting motivated here soon to take a shower and get ready, but then again…it is already noon ;). After a fabulous but long weekend of shooting two weddings and an engagement shoot, I’m definitely enjoying the disheveled look for now!
Can I just take a second to say that I believe naps are underrated? As kids we never wanted to take them, as college kids we took them all the time, and then as adults in the “real world” we want to take them, but rarely get to. Am I right? That’s all. LOL.
Gummy bears: my wedding day survival “food”. Weddings are fast-paced loads of craziness! As the photographer, I need to be on top of my game. Every time I’m feeling a little “off”, I pop a handful of gummy bears and I’m good to go. My couples have been known to be fans of the gummy bear quick fix as well. That’s when I know we’re friends for life ;)
This weekend Joe + I shot at a great little orange grove. Great location BUT it had just recently been irrigated. My clients were such troopers as I scavenged for spots that weren’t muddy. We were right in the middle of the shoot when I stepped backward and sunk into the mud. Needless to say, I think I’m going to need a new pair of pink chucks!
Happy Monday! xoxo Stacy
