Happy Memorial Day lovelies! I hope that yours has been as wonderful as mine has been so far. We spent the morning at the dog park followed by cuddling on the couch watching our favorite shows. Yay for CUDDLING! I love cuddling. I just think it’s the best :).
I want to introduce you to a friend of mine. Her name is Mary and she’s been in my life for 10 years. Mary has been with me through a lot. She was there when I took my driving test and when I drove across the country from Wisconsin to Arizona. Oh I should mention, she is a 1997 Toyota Corolla :). I drove Mary for years and years until last year when we decided it was time I ‘upgrade’ (sorry Mary!). Even though I had a ‘new’ car, I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of her so we kept her too. In fact, Joe chooses to drive Mary to work over his BMW because she has better a/c and better gas mileage. That’s my girl! She doesn’t look like much but she’s still chugging along. So this one’s for you Mary! :)
I ate like a 6 year old at a carnival this weekend. Kettle corn, salt water taffy and creme soda. True story!
Ohhh I am going to feel the wrath of my poor eating when we start back up with Insanity tomorrow. Last week we only did 3 days of it, and we both barely made it to the end of each workout. I have never seen Joe cry before, but I thought at one point I was going to witness it for the first time lol. I kid! But seriously, I can’t remember the last time my body was that sore. It was hard for me to walk from my office to the kitchen. Ridiculous! But we’re starting back up tomorrow and I say: Bring.It.ON!
Let me leave you with a funny story. I always keep a glass of water by my bedside because if I wake up in the middle of the night, I’m usually thirsty. In the middle of the night one night last week, I rolled over and took a drink like usual and then laid back down. Joe jumped out of bed and went running over to the dogs. Me: “What are you doing?” Joe: “Hope was just about to throw up.” Me: “Umm I just took a drink of water.” Joe: “Oh, that sounded exactly like Hope dry heaving.” Now isn’t that what every woman wants to hear?! Who doesn’t want to sound like a dry heaving dog when you drink water? I think I landed the king of sweet talk! ;)
See you next week friends! xoxo stacy
Hahaha… I leave a glass of water by the bedside too only last night I completely knocked it over onto the whole night stand. UGH. That was a first. And I drink really loud… can’t help it no matter what I do.
HAHAHA! You seriously make me shoot water out of my mouth from laughing so hard :)
