What a week it was! I headed out to Wisconsin at the end of last week, shot a wedding, had an early birthday party with my fam, shot an engagement session and then flew home. I think that was the quickest trip I’d ever taken back to Wisconsin and while I was ready to get back to see Joe, I wasn’t totally ready to leave.
I had such a blast hanging out with my family yesterday; laughing with my mom and sisters, watching my nieces and nephews tear around the yard and enjoying my mom’s amazing cooking. For those of you who don’t know, I have a huge family; 5 older brothers and sisters, 11 nieces and nephews. So when we all get together it’s a bit crazy, which I love. No where else do I laugh harder or smile bigger. I love you fam!
Meanwhile, back at the home-front, Joe and “the girls” were having a rough time as well. First, I get a call from Joe telling me that he had to crawl through the dog door because he forgot his house key. A couple hours later Joe calls me again to tell me that Hope caught a bee in her mouth and was having a severe allergic reaction. She had to get rushed to the doggy hospital and was in critical condition at one point! (She’s all better now fyi). The next morning Joe sends me a picture text of his face which has a huge scrap right by his eye. Apparently he walked in a metal post. True story. It looks like my family needs me to stick close by!
Here’s my cute mom :)
