Coffee Talk Monday #30

Aug 1, 2011

Hello from Wisconsin! I’m currently on trip #4 of 5 for the summer. I can’t believe how fast this summer is going! I have had the pleasure of documenting 4 FABULOUS weddings here so far with 2 more to go. It’s been a blast, although I’m totally missing my hubby and pups. Thank God for face time!

With all this traveling, I’ve been spending my fair share of time in airports and consequently, airport bathrooms. Every time I go in one, I regret it. If I didn’t have the bladder the size of a 2 year old, I would just as soon boycott the facilities. For one, I don’t understand why the bathroom stall doors open ‘in’ instead of ‘out’. The stalls are tiny already, then you have to cram in there with your luggage and then attempt to get the door passed your body and your luggage without falling in the toilet. If the doors opened out, it would be so much easier! Maybe I should drop a note in the suggestion box…? ;)

So most of you know, I’m a dreamer! I have big dreams for my life all the time, but I’ve also been known to have some pretty crazy dreams while I sleep. And the thing is, they always seem super realistic at the time I’m dreaming them, even if the dream itself is totally unrealistic. Poor Joe; I can’t count the number of times I’ve woken up upset because he was “really mean to me in my dream”. And then I expect him to console me for the mean things his “dream self” said or did lol!

Dear rainbow wheel, oh how you taunt me! Now all you pc users out there, you may know him as the little hour glass. Whatever form he takes, his presence is rarely welcomed. Since I’ve been traveling, I’ve been using my old laptop rather than my Imac and let’s just say, my patience is being tested. He used to only show up every once in a while as a reminder that my multi-tasking was reaching it’s limit. But now, he shows up when I’m trying to do the simplest of tasks (throat clear), say writing a Coffee Talk Monday post. Oh my gosh, there he goes again! Maybe he’s feeling attention starved. Can one of you fellow mac users do me a favor and spend some time with him, so I don’t have to so much?

SO as I mentioned, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting some great WI weddings this summer and I can’t wait to share the next one with you. I just love this couple! In the meantime, I thought I would tease you and just show you one to make you want to come back for more ;)
