Coffee Talk Monday :: Kokes Christmas

Dec 28, 2015

Happy post-Christmas coffee talk Monday! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. We sure did!

Aside from our first married Christmas which we spent in Arizona, we have always gone out of town to Oregon or Wisconsin for Christmas. This year, I knew that I wasn’t going to be up for flying at 28 weeks pregnant so we decided to stay in Arizona just the three of us. I worried that I might have an emotional break down not being with my Wisconsin family, but I have to say that I really savored the slow, quiet (well quieter) Christmas with our little family. This was our last Christmas as a family of three, so it was really special to soak that up for all its worth.

We started the morning off by reading about Jesus’ birth followed by opening presents and then a gluten free french toast breakfast. And the great thing about spending Christmas in Arizona is that we got to spend most of the day outside playing and finished the evening roasting marshmallows around our bonfire. It was a perfect Christmas!

This face sums up how Bella felt about it being Christmas morning!
