Today felt a little bit like I was living in an Alanis Morissette song. You know, “It’s like rainnnnn on your wedding day!”, except our lyrics would go, “It’s like your a/c going out just days after your home warranty expires! And isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?” Yes, it’s true. Our 34 year old unit finally decided to blow it’s last cold air today and now we have to replace it with a new unit. On the bright side, it happened on one of the “coolest” days we’ve had in AZ in a while. AND it happened before I head out of town so Joe didn’t have to deal with it on his own during a busy work week. Silver linings, my friends!
So, I must confess…I have some issues. I rock a touch of anxiety mixed with claustorphobia, moderate motion sickness, germaphobia and a few irrational fears. Put it all together and it makes quite the cocktail when it comes to flying/traveling. I can’t wait to visit family tomorrow but will need to channel all my positive thoughts and prayers to hope for a smooth, easy flying experience for me and miss B!
In other news, this past weekend I had the pleasure of attending a wedding as a guest rather than as a photog! Our good friends Adam and Amber tied the knot and goodness it was beautiful! It felt nice to get all dressed up together as a fam and while we only made it until 8pm, we still categorize that as “partying it up” in the Kokes fam!
P.S. Loving the photo bomb from the guys behind us LOL!
Happy Monday, my friends!
