Frank+Julie: the Hernandez Wedding

Apr 3, 2011

Julie drove up to the Bella Giardino on the afternoon of Friday the 18th. As she rolled down the car window to greet us, I could see she was beaming with a true, authentic bridal glow. She looked beyond gorgeous. Her bridesmaids watched adoringly as her mom laced up her gown and they all fought back tears. They all joined hands as her sister lifted her up in prayer; a heartfelt prayer for the marriage that was just moments away. Frank + Joe made small talk as he nervously awaited “the first look”; the first time he would see his beautiful bride. Julie let out a nervous sigh as she walked closer to Frank. Then finally she tapped him on the shoulder and their eyes met. With tears in their eyes they embraced deeply and Frank lovingly wiped Julie’s tears with his hand; already living out the vows that he would take moments later. In that moment, the nerves left them and they were ready to become husband + wife. They even shared a “let’s do this” high-five :). Their wedding ceremony was deep + true and brought tears to my eyes. This couple is beyond special and I am honored that they chose us to document their love. Julie+Frank, we pray for amazing blessings on your new marriage. Lots of love!!! Stacy + Joe xoxo

The rose symbolizes the promises/love they have professed. From now on anytime they give one another a single red rose, it is to be a reminder of these promises.

Right after they have become husband + wife. Taking it all in.
