Ross did his best to remain busy as he awaited the moment when he would see his bride for the first time. Glance at his phone. Pace around. Chat with guests. Repeat. Meanwhile, Gaby nervously took a mouse-size bit of a strawberry fruit leather and sipped on some water. Sigh. “I’m really nervous” she said. I told her she looked beautiful and that Ross was going to flip when he saw her. The very mention of his name made Gaby light up. “Okay, I’m ready…” she said. I approached Ross and told him that it was time for “the first look”. He let out a deep sigh as we walked to the spot. For 8 years, they had waited for this moment. The moment when they would see one another not just as boyfriend and girlfriend, but as each other’s bride + groom; the day that they would become each other’s spouse. This particular first look was especially emotional for me. As Ross turned to see his bride for the first time, you couldn’t help but feel the adoration they have for one another. They embraced deeply and Gaby quietly whispered “You’ve been my best friend since I was fourteen.” The entire wedding was filled with tears of joy from the couple, from the guests, and yes even from me. It’s weddings like this that remind me what a precious gift marriage is. Thank you Ross+Gaby for letting us share in this incredible day. We pray blessings on your new life together as husband and wife. xoxo stacy
It was such a treat working at one of my favorite venues: The Farm at South Mountain
Gaby’s dress was incredible. Truly unique and beautiful, just like her.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw her amazing bouquet.
Joy was radiating from her as she got into her dress.
One word: Glamourous.
