The Pregnancy Files :: 26 Weeks

26 weeks (12/12/15)/Second Trimester/Clover Joy is the size of a head of lettuce (14 in, 1.7-2.5 lbs)IMG_0259

I may still have 14 weeks (or more) to go, but I am in full nesting mode. I have been cleaning out closets, donating things like crazy and trying to make more room in this house as Clover’s arrival draws nearer. Especially since I know we will inevitably be adding more stuff to our house with Christmas and Bella and Joe’s January birthdays around the corner. It’s time to Craigslist and Goodwill it up!

Speaking of Craigslist, I am loving some of the deals I have scored this week. We got an excellent condition carseat for a stellar price and the changing table I’ve had my eye on for less than half the cost. All about the deals, baby!

Physically, I am feeling good. The heartburn comes and goes, but I have been so grateful to be sleeping better. I also haven’t been having to pee every 10 minutes like before but that probably is because it’s been harder for me to drink 90-100+ oz of water like I was in the summer. I need to work on that!

As far as food goes, I am still on my soup kick. My poor family is probably so sick of veggie soup, but Momma and Clover love it! That and cereal have been my two favorite things.

We got Bella all moved into her new “big sister” room this week and I am SO proud of her. She went from a toddler bed to a queen size (as that’s what was already in the guest room) and she’s been such a champ with the transition. I worried that she might make a stink since her old room is becoming Clover’s nursery, but so far she just keeps telling how much she loves her new room and can’t wait to help decorate Clover’s room. Her and I ventured to Lowe’s today to get ideas for paint colors. While she is adamant that her selection of hot pink and bright purple should be the winners, I think we’ll go with one of my selections instead!

Here is a peek at Bella’s new big sis room. I wasn’t sure how it was going to come together since I mostly used decor we already had, but I think it turned out cute! As you can see, owls are still a big hit around here.
