29 weeks (1/2/16)/Third Trimester/Clover Joy is the size of a butternut squash (17 in, 2-3 lbs)
This week, I soaked up the last of Christmas vacation with my sweet little family and growing babe. We painted her nursery and I LOVE how it turned out. My parents are coming out to visit in a couple weeks and that’s when we’ll start decorating and putting the furniture in. So excited to see it come together and picture my sweet babe in there!
We spent many an afternoon/evening fireside in our backyard. Is there anything more relaxing?! Well, maybe when you’re sitting there sans 4 year old. Bella didn’t exactly let us sit for very long without wanting to swing, play soccer or “play chase”.
Nesting is in full swing! I’ve been buying up storage boxes like they’re going out of style! This week, I organized and decluttered TONS of boxes and made a few trips to Goodwill. Oh, it feels so good! Next up on my agenda is organizing our file cabinets. Thrilling, right?!
I was so grateful for the family time we got to have this week. Joe was off work for over a week and it was glorious. Watching him play with Bella and having him there to feel Clover’s mid-afternoon kicks was wonderful. I swear I am falling more and more in love with this man of mine. Bella, Clover and I are so blessed.
The Stats:
Total Weight Gain: 15 pounds
Symptoms: I feel like I’ve been riding on a horse for a week straight! I now understand why pregnant women waddle when they walk :).
Highlight of the week: Painting Clover’s room the perfect shade of green and getting a TON of baby girl clothes for cheap from Kid 2 Kid!
Looking forward to: Another midwife appointment today, hypnobirthing classes in a week and a half and my parents visiting soon!
leave some LOVE!
