It takes a village…
This pregnancy has been a beautiful opportunity for me to rely on community and the strengths of others. From friends who have volunteered to watch Bella for doctor and other baby-related appointments to all the amazing professionals I have been seeing to aid in my pregnancy, I am honored and humbled by the help I’ve been receiving. And my husband? Well, he is just a rockstar. He rubs my sore muscles, paints my toes, practices hypnobirthing techniques with me and makes sure I know how proud he is of me. I sure love my tribe!
Yoga goodness:
I am so grateful that I have still been able to keep up with my yoga practice. Sure, things feel and look different these days, but I always so accomplished after a great flow class. It is such great prep for birth as well. As I flow through tough poses, I get the opportunity practice breath work, renewing my mind and releasing and relaxing in spite of the tough stuff.
Valentine’s Weekend:
This week we got to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night out to a local Ahwatukee restaurant (the Perfect Pear Bistro) followed by ice cream and snuggling on the couch. I know we only have a few more opportunities for “just the two of us” before this sweet babe arrives, so I am cherishing every chance I get alone with my man.
In the same way, I am soaking up each weekend we get as just the three of us knowing that soon this phase of “life as three” will be over. These past 2 1/2 years pouring into Bella as our one and only have been so precious. We are so excited for Miss Clover to join the fun!
Daddy took his girls shopping on Valentine’s Day where I got Clover her first swimsuit. Because let’s be honest, every AZ girl needs a swimsuit pretty much immediately out of the womb LOL.
The Stats:
Total Weight Gain: 20 pounds
Highlight of the week: Spending an awesome Valentine’s weekend with my family.
Looking forward to: Continuing to prep for birthing without fear.
leave some LOVE!
