how much I LOVE & APPRECIATE my parents!!! For the past 3 weeks my parents have been tirelessly working on turning our boring, random front room into a GORGEOUS, functional home photography office. For so long I have been imagining what it would be like to have a legitimate space to do my editing, meet with my clients, and just be inspired and thanks to my parents that is now a reality. They came out from Wisconsin to spend 3 weeks with Joe & I. They knew that building an office was part of the plan, but I’m sure they planned on having some R&R time too. Well you know how projects go…they always take longer than we anticipate, so we were literally running around the day before my parents left for some last minute necessities and yet they still had smiles on their faces. So Mom & Dad, I just want to publicly tell you how grateful I am for EVERYTHING that you did for Joe & I these past 3 weeks. This office is such a blessing to me, and I pray that it will be a blessing to my clients as well. Even though we didn’t have a lot of “down time”, it was great just getting to spend time together. We love you so much, and can’t wait for your next trip out. I promise next time will be more relaxing ;)!!! Here are some photos of the room before, during & after. And of course the two that made it all possible!

Love it Stacy! Can’t wait to see it in person! Love the chandelier above your desk! So cute!
Nice picts of your mom and dad too – they’re so cute (your mom and dad and the picts)!!
Stacy, how fun! It’s about time you put some more photos up!! I think I totally have that little lamp you have on your editing table. I love the chandelier and the floor (looks a little familiar?). I bet you’re so excited/relieved! One question: where will *you* sit when a couple comes in? With them on the couch?
